Tables and columns
Ethereum exposes 20 EVM tables. Start with blocks, transactions, logs, calls, storage_changes. Each table includes block metadata and a date partition column.

Always read through the Delta log: delta_scan in DuckDB or scan_delta in Polars. Never glob Parquet files or use aws s3 sync to read a table: date folders can include files that compaction replaced, which would duplicate rows. Filter by date and select only the columns you need.
